CLIFTON PARK – Antonios Katsoudas, 71, of Clifton Park, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2006. He was born in Greece and came to the United States 37 years ago, living in the Capital District. Mr. Katsoudas operated the Miss Glenmont Diner and the Watervliet Diner. More recently, he owned and operated Tony's Diner in Greenwich, NY until he retired. Antonios was a member of St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church since 1972. He is the beloved husband of 49 years to Anneta Katsoudas. He is the devoted father of Eleni Tashjian and her husband, Mark, Jimmy Katsoudas and his wife, Tracey and the late Christos Katsoudas. He is the cherished grandfather of Brenna, Zoe, Krista, Alex, Elecia, Mark Jr. and Casey. Also surviving are his sisters, Koula, Katina and Agape, five nephews and three nieces.
Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 9:00 a.m. at New Comer- Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave) then to St. Sophia's Greek Orthodox Church at 10:00 a.m. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral Home. The Trisagion Service will be held on Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery, Albany. Expressions of sympathy made be made at newcomerfamily.com
