CLIFTON PARK - April Christine, 64, beloved Wife, Daughter, Mother, Grandmother and Friend, departed from this world on July 3, 2023. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. April's life was a beautiful journey, filled with compassion and love.
April was born on October 18, 1958. She was an only child of her loving parents Richard G. Peaker and the late Lorretta M. Peaker. She was the source of pride and joy for her parents. From an early age, it was evident that April possessed a radiant spirit and a contagious energy that touched the lives of everyone around her. Her infectious laughter and warm smile lit up any room she entered.
April found her soulmate in Michael D. Christine. Married for 34 years, they share an eternal love. Together they built a life of love, commitment, shared dreams and passions. Their bond was a testament to partnership, support and unconditional love.
April leaves behind a legacy of love, and a family that will forever be grateful for the privilege of calling her Mom. Her memory will be cherished by her three children; Erica Haddix, Michael D. Christine Jr. and Richard E. Christine, as well as her adoring grandchildren Trey and Olivia Haddix.
April is predeceased by her Grandparents Edward and Mabel Van Bergen. Her love and influence will be fondly remembered by extended family and friends.
April pursued her education with great diligence, graduating from Siena College in date 1980. Her intellectual drive and love for travel allowed her to enjoy France, Italy, London and various sunny beaches around the world.
Beyond her accomplishments and contributions, April will be remembered for her incredible spirit and love for life. April cherished every moment and taught us the value of living life to the fullest. She faced life's challenges with determination and unwavering grace.
April Christine's departure has left an immense void in our lives, but we find solace in the beautiful memories she gifted us. She will forever be cherished and remembered by those fortunate enough to know her.
Services will be held at St. George's Episcopal Church, 912 Rte 146, Clifton Park NY 12065 on Saturday August 5, at 11am. Reception to immediately follow at St. George's Church.
April Christine, your light will continue to shine. May you rest in eternal peace, knowing that your presence in our lives has made the world a better place. You will be deeply missed.
