Colonie, NY-Arlene J. Bayer passed away on January 23, 2019 at St. Peter's Hospital.
She was born on July 4, 1933 daughter of the late Walter and Helen Urban.
Arlene was married to Robert M. Bayer who predeceased her in 1998, twin brother, Arthur Urban and brother Walter Urban as well as her brother-in-law, Richard Piel.
She is survived by her children, Diana Denisulk (Stephen), Deborah Schomaker (Fred), Robert M. Bayer (Deborah); grandchildren, Stephen Denisulk, Kimberly Denisulk-Conners (Todd), Brianne Schomaker-Burdick (Shawn), Kristie Schomaker- Watson (Larry), Michael Schomaker (Rebecca), Lydia Bayer and Kyle Bayer; great-grandchildren, Noah, Cruse, Adrianna, Emma, Benjamin and one on the way; sister, Janice Piel; sister-in-law, Christine Urban, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service to celebrate Arlene's life will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 12:00pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205. Visitation will be from 10:00am to 12:00pm prior to services. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Foundation, 501 St Jude Place
