SCHENECTADY- Armida Ramos, age 90, passed away surrounded by her family on October 11, 2022 at her residence.
She was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, a daughter of the late Ramon and Josefa Gomez. She was predeceased by her husband Carlos Ramos in 1990.
Armida worked at Campbell Plastics for 29 years, retiring when they closed.
She is survived by her children: Irma (Kevin) Brennan, Carlos (Lisa) Ramos, Abel (Sharon) Ramos, Moises (Robin) Ramos, Ruben (Nancy) Ramos and Hector Ramos (Chris Ballmes); siblings: Hector (Evelyn) Gomez, Nilda Acevedo, Manuel (Margie) Gomez and Joe Gomez. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Tuesday October 18, 2022 from 9 to 11 a.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. All are invited to attend her funeral service following at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna, NY.
