Arnold C. Hamm, Jr.

December 30, 1939 — April 25, 2013

Arnold C. Hamm Jr., 73, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Apr 25, 2013 at Community Hospice Inn at St. Peters surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Albany to the late Arnold and Winona Hamm. Arnold proudly served with the United States Army National Guard and was an active member of seven Senior Groups in Colonie, and loved taking bus trips with them. He was also the President of the Lisha Kill Senior Center Club. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Rosalie Green.

Arnold is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley (Albert) Hamm; his three sons, Christopher (Terri), Walter and Jonathan Hamm. He is the adored grandfather of Caitlyn, Trevor and Skylar Hamm and the brother of Faith (Bertie) Reed. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Pine Grove United Methodist Church, 1580 Central Ave., Colonie or to a charity of one's choice, in Arnold's memory.

Funeral service for Arnold will be Monday, Apr 29, 2013 at 10:30 am at the Pine Grove United Methodist Church, 1580 Central Ave, Colonie. Calling hours will be on Sunday, Apr 28, 2013 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. Inurnment will follow the service at Memory Gardens, Colonie.
