Arthur A. Lemay, Jr.

GUILDERLAND- Arthur A. LeMay Jr., 69, of Guilderland, passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2009 at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born in Troy and was the son of the late Arthur and Georgiana LeMay.
Art was a graduate of CBA and had served in the US Coast Guard. He was a gas mechanic with Niagara Mohawk for forty years before his retirement. Art was a coach with Pinebush Little League and Guilderland Babe Ruth. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed helping young children with their bowling and baseball endeavors. Art was a member of Albany Elks #49.
He is the beloved husband of 45 years to Mary Louise LeMay. He is the devoted father of Arthur J. (Elise) LeMay, Barbara A. Desrosiers, Michael E.(Cathy) LeMay and John W. LeMay. He is the cherished grandfather of Kirstyn and Alana Desrosiers, Abigail, Ryan and Hallie LeMay.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:00am at Christ the King Church, Guilderland. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. The parish family of Christ the King will gather on Tuesday at 4:30 pm at the funeral home for a service of prayer and remembrance. All are welcome. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery.
