Arthur E. Mcdonald

Arthur "Artie" Edward McDonald, 54, of Rotterdam junction passed away suddenly on September 21st 2015. He is the beloved son of Joan McDonald and the late Arthur E. McDonald Sr. He will be forever missed by two sisters Colleen Caruso (Stephen) and Mary Piel as well as several nieces and nephews; Charlene, Jason (Trista) and Rachel Bradt and Devon, Brianna, and Aaron Piel, as well as his beloved dog Molly. Artie was predeceased by his nephew Tyler Dallas Piel.
Artie was a well-known and talented hair stylist in the capital district, previous owner of Devon Blake Hair Salon and most recently self-employed at In Style Hair Salon. Artie will be remembered for his winning personality, kindness, compassion, and infectious laugh. He will be greatly missed by all.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 from the hours of 5pm-8pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, September 30, at St. Luke's Church, State Street, Schenectady.
