Arthur Paul Forget

Arthur Paul Forgét, Jr., 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Arthur was the son of the late Arthur P. Sr. and Mary Forgét.

Arthur proudly served with the United States Army and the United States Navy. He was a Life member of the VFW Post 3185, Delmar, NY.

He was an avid reader and photographer. Loved playing golf, enjoyed watching horse racing, was an avid Boston Red Sox fan, enjoyed baking, gardening and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife Patricia and his brother Billy.

Arthur is survived by his children; Marc (Michele) Zeyak, Lisette (Tom) Wilson, Nicole (Thomas) Schiller and Arthur P. III (Aiman) Forgét. His grandchildren, Marc Jr., Shane, Zach, Devon, Shealyn, Austin, Callum, Gracen and Fairuza. He is also survived by his sister, Lorraine Berryman, and brother Leo Forget as well as 11 great grandchildren and many friends.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189 on Sunday March 23, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Arthur will received Military Honors at 3:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
