DELMAR- Arthur "Don" Herzog, 84, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 with his loving family by his side.
Don was born to the late Frederick and Zita Herzog in, Chicago, IL, on July 13, 1931. Don served his country honorably in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Don worked as a building contractor for most of his life in Albany, NY. Don will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed flying, golfing, and singing in his church choir.
He is predeceased by his son, Frederick Herzog, and his three brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his loving children; Steve Herzog, Laura Mazula, and Mark Herzog, his grandchildren; Matthew, Mackenzie, Paige, Sophia, and Max, and his four sisters; Rita McCullough, Barbara Scharshu, Mary Sarro, and Carol Hughes.
A funeral service will be held at First United Methodist Church, 428 Kenwood Ave, Delmar, NY, on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at 12:00pm.
