KALLNER, ARTHUR L., Sr.
Arthur L. Kallner, Sr., 70, passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, November 15, 2010, with his wife by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer. Arthur was born in Albany to the late John and Julia Kallner. As a young man, Arthur proudly served for the United States Army. He later worked until his retirement after 43 years with the CDTA. In addition to his parents, Arthur was predeceased by his son, Joey Kallner and his two brothers.
Arthur will be sadly missed by his loving and devoted wife of over 50 years, Donna (Cross) Kallner, his beloved children; Arthur (Irene) Kallner, Jr., Kimberly (Thomas) Hotaling and Matthew (Kathi) Kallner. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, one great granddaughter, one brother and two sisters.
At Arthur's request funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Those who so desire, may make memorial contributions to The Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Rd. Albany, NY 12205 in Arthur's honor.
