Ashley (Ash) Kirk, 24, of Savannah, GA passed away early morning on August 17, 2022, as a result of natural causes in her sleep. Her husband, Forrest Barthelmess the love of her life was by her side. She was born to Michelle and Bill Kirk of Schenectady, New York on December 1st, 1997.
Ashley was incredibly beautiful inside and out. She had a heart of gold that was full of kindness and was so sweet, loving and supportive to her family and friends. She was also incredibly brave, and funny. She loved to laugh and was known for her beautiful infectious laughter that could make anyone else around her laugh too. She was wise beyond her years.
She began writing short stories and poetry as a young girl and continued into adulthood. She loved to read and was a natural writer and poet. She was also an amazingly talented artist. She was blessed with the ability to have such a steady hand when creating her art pieces that were anime, birds, flowers, and cartoons.
Ashley is survived by her loving husband Forrest Barthelmess, her mother Michelle Kirk, father Bill Kirk, and loving stepmother Michele Kirk, her brother Nick Trager and sister Kayla Kirk, her stepsister Rebecca Hofer and stepbrother Brandon Conway. She also leaves her maternal grandparents Diane and Paul Harris and many close friends in Georgia and New York. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Nellie and William Kirk.
