Watervliet – Audrey Bentley, 79, died peacefully at her home Thursday January 24, 2008.
Audrey was born in Vermont and moved to the Capital District as a young woman. She enjoyed all kinds of word puzzles, walking everywhere and being from Vermont, Audrey loved cows.
She is the beloved mother of Ellen (Edward) Dimmer, Merastella (Alex) Bentley and Ron (Lynne) Bentley. Audrey is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Monday at 1:30pm at Memory's Garden Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation 6 Greenwood Drive, East Greenbush, NY 12061. To leave a special message for the family online, visit www.newcomerfamily.com
