COLONIE - Audrey H. Davis, 80, died on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at the Ann Lee Home surrounded by her loving family, following a long battle with Alzheimer's.
Audrey was born in Albany and lived in Albany and Clifton Park her entire life. She was the daughter of the late Jeannette and James Miller. Audrey had been a housekeeper at the Sate University of New York prior to her retirement and also a school bus driver for Shenendehowa School District for many years. She was an avid bowler which gave her great enjoyment.
Audrey is survived by her daughter, Judy Holmes Kindlon of Colonie; her son, Edward M. (Kathleen) Davis, Sr. of Guilderland; her grandchildren, Kevin (Tammy) Holmes of Colonie, Timothy (Barbara) Holmes of Colonie, Brendan (Brittany) Holmes of Mount Pleasant, SC and Edward M. (Theresa) Davis, Jr. of Schenectady; her brother, Wesley Miller of Georgia; her sister, Edith Miller of Colonie; her step grandchildren and her great-grandsons, Jon, Michael, Brendan and Ryan. She was predeceased to the Lord's loving embrace by her beloved grandson, John M. Holmes; son-in-law, Henry P. Kindlon; brothers, James and Milton Miller and sisters, Julia Renak and Jeanette Johnson.
Judy and Ed will forever be indebted to the outstanding staff at the Ann Lee Home for the loving and compassionate care that was given to their mother. Thank you is insufficient to express our gratitude.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Interment will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Guilderland. A calling hour will precede the service from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
