SLINGERLANDS – It is with great sadness that the family of Audrey Irene Fuino announces her passing after a long illness on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at the age of 86. Audrey was born and raised in Kansas, along with her seven siblings. She moved to Albany and met her husband, the late Pasquale Fuino who is still deeply missed. She retired from the State Insurance Fund and was an active member of the Bethlehem Grange #137 and the Albany Pomona Grange #4. Her favorite activity was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her greatest joy was having all of her family together. All that came in contact with Audrey were affected by her sweetness and contagious smile. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was a strong and brave woman. Audrey will be sadly missed by her four children, Daniel Fuino and his wife, Gaan, Michelle Scaringe and her husband, Carmen, Paul Fuino and his wife, Cindy and Patricia Paul-Zimbler and her husband, Larry. Audrey is the cherished sister of James Minnis. She will be lovingly remembered by her nine grandchildren, Daniel Jr. (Kim), Kelly (aka the Warden)(Charles), Kristy, Michael (Patti), Christopher, Carmen, Kailin, Jennifer and Alison and her six great-grandchildren, Justin, Dean, Mike Jr., Jacob, Joshua and Matthew (Chewy) and a great-great-granddaughter, Evelynn. Special thanks go out to Julie Fuino and Todd Paul for their continuous love and support to Audrey, Suzanne for taking care of her, her good friends at Marie Rose Manor, especially June, and her physician assistant Nicole Snyder for not only taking such good care of her, but truly caring for her. Thank you to all of her physicians, the nurses on the 3rd floor of St. Peter's Hospital, the staff at the Hospice Inn and Resurrection Nursing Home for being so sweet to Audrey and supportive to her family.
