Audrey May Hutson

GUILDERLAND – Audrey May Hutson, 82, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on Friday, January 6, 2012. She was born Audrey May Valenti on May 6, 1929 to the late James Valenti and Martha Owens Valenti. Audrey graduated from Albany High School and Albany Business College. She was a communicant of Christ the King Church in Guilderland where she sang in the choir and funeral choir for many years. Audrey is the beloved wife of Arthur Hutson for over sixty years. She is the loving mother of Patricia (Tom) Hornbach, Kathleen Hutson, Teri (Lou) Mulligan and Thomas (Judy) Hutson. Audrey is the cherished grandmother of Kevin, Kirsten and Celeste Hornbach and Katherine and Zachary Hutson. She is the sister of James Valenti, Elizabeth Nichols and Gregory Valenti. In addition to her parents, Audrey was predeceased by her stepmother, Josephine Valenti. Audrey extended her care and compassion in a light hearted manner to everyone she met.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the King Church, Guilderland. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). The parish family of Christ the King will gather at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home for a service of prayer and remembrance. All are welcome. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
