Audrey Myers, 84, went home to be with her savior and many other loved ones who were awaiting her arrival, Tuesday September 22, 2009.
She was born in West Albany the daughter of the late Herbert and Hilda (Tallman) Miller and was a lifelong area resident. Audrey was a wonderful home maker and care giver to all those in her life. She will always be remembered for praying for and with, all those in her life and for giving a lifetime commitment to her son Jeffrey. She lovingly cared for Jeffrey at home for 59 years and would not have had it any other way. Audrey was predeceased by her husband Jacob in 1978.
Her prayer was that everyone come to salvation through the shed blood of Jesus Christ for our sins.
She is survived by her daughter Judy Graziano, her sons: Jack and Jeffrey Myers, daughter –in-law Jackie Myers, grandchildren: Donna Campbell, Christine Graziano, Gina Forbes, Toni Ladopoulos, Mark Myers, Keith Myers and Renee Stratton, 15 great-grandchildren, sister Gertrude Dennis and brother Alfred Miller. Audrey is also survived by many dear friends and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr. Shahida Mirza, Tina and the entire staff at the Dr.'s office, Dr. Sokol, Dr. Bruce and the caregivers of Hospice.
The funeral service will be held 9:00am Friday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155 south of Central Ave.). Calling hours are Thursday 5:00 to 8:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Central Ave., Colonie.
