Audrey Welnhofer

COLONIE-Audrey E. Welnhofer, 80, of Colonie passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Albany Memorial Hospital. She was born in the Town of Queensbury, the daughter of the late Albert C. and Florence Fuller and Lorraine J. (Lawrence) and Jesse B. Kennedy. Audrey was a devout member of the North Albany Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Her ministry and family were both very significant in her life. She was a selfless person, who always put others before herself. Audrey was a loving and caring person, who will be missed by all that knew her.
Audrey is survived by her children Gloria R. Stewart, Pam L. Hoy (Ed) and Toni M. Welnhofer and by her grandchildren Jeremy Kellogg, Tania Kellogg, Tammy Sprague, Brenda Sprague, Sharon Hoy-Tallman, Marcie Hoy, and Manda Silva. She is also survived by her step son Jim Welnhofer and family; sixteen great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Audrey was predeceased by her husband George G. Welnhofer; by a son Jerald A. Kellogg; a brother, Allen E. Kennedy and a sister Ruth L. Kennedy.
Calling hours will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 PM.
