Audrey Y. White

Colonie- Audrey White, 82, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016. She was born on December 20, 1933.

Audrey graduated from Albany High School in 1953 and went on to work as a Payroll Supervisor at O.D. Heck. Audrey was a true matriarch who could always be counted on to help anyone in need. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and had a unique relationship with Ivana and Maya.

Audrey was predeceased by her mother, Mary Brown, her father Arthur Clinton Beasley; a son, Ronald Beasley; and her brothers Milton and Jerome Beasley.

Audrey is survived by her husband, Emanuel White; sons Steven (Linda) Beasley and Mark (Donna) White; siblings, Ernestine (Lewis) Foster, A.C. (Grace) Beasley, Barbara Beasley, Michele (Leroy) Beasley-Parrish and Lynn (Milford) Whye; grandchildren, Danielle (Clayton) Beasley Bradford, Tara Beasley Sankey, Calonji Ato Beasley, Tyson Beasley, Ian Beasley, Jennifer (Joseph) Santamarina, Ashley (Jermaine) Coleman, and Jacquelyn White; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends and relatives may call on Friday, February 26, 2016 from 9am-11am at Metropolitan Baptist Church, 105 Second Street, Albany, NY 12210. A service will be held at 11am with interment following at Memory Gardens. Following the interment a repast will be held at the church.
