Augusta C. Goedtel

COLONIE, NY – Augusta C. Goedtel, 82, passed away suddenly on Monday, March 01, 2010. She was born in Albany and resided in the Albany area for all of her life. Augusta worked for the New York State Dept. of Health from where she retired. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family. Augusta was the beloved wife of the late Peter H. Goedtel. She is the devoted mother of Barbara Goedtel and the late Peter K. Goedtel. She is the cherished grandmother of Khalyn (Russell) Gulli.
Funeral services will be Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Guilderland. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204 in memory of Augusta C. Goedtel.
