Austin P. Lanzarotta

Colonie- Austin P. Lanzarotta, "Gus", 88, passed away on June 14, 2022.

Born on March 4, 1934 son of the late Philip and Anna (Gatto) Lanzarotta in Albany, NY.

Gus was a truck driver for Colony Liquor Distributors with over 30 years of service. After retiring he went on to work at St. Ann's Institute in Albany for 12 years. Gus enjoyed bowling and participated in many bowling leagues throughout the years. He always took great pride in caring for his lawn and cars. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Gus also enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and NASCAR racing. He will be dearly missed.

Gus is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Marcia A. (Leicht) Lanzarotta; their children, Cindy Satalino, Marcia Guettler (Michael), Theresa Carucci (Joseph); grandchildren, Ashley Eysaman (John), Emily Berlin (Nicholas), Jason Guettler (Jess), Craig Guettler (Amanda), Andrew Carucci (Alaina); great grandchildren, Cameron Eysaman, Abby LaPlante, Arya Guettler and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his siblings, Joseph Lanzarotta, Mary Moran, Rose Ritzler, Antoinette Lanzarotta and Vincent Lanzarotta.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 from 10am-12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205. A service will being at 12pm. Interment will follow at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
