Austin R. Flowers, 43, returned home to his Father in Heaven on July 17, 2014, at his residence with his family and loving wife by his side.
Austin was born June 21, 1971, in Poughkeepsie, New York, to Sherrie Flowers and the late Austin Wood. Austin attended SUNY Albany, graduating class of 2005. After graduation he began working for Mildred Elley in Albany.
He will be remembered for his one of a kind infectious smile.
He was preceded by his brother Dommiss Flowers. .
In addition to his mother, Austin is survived by his loving wife of over 12 years, Kathleen (Majkut)Flowers. He is the cherished father of Austin Jr. (Shakishia), Avery, Korin, Jaylin and Jalon. He is also survived by three brothers, Ruben, Messiah, Andre; three sisters, Malaika, Nicole, Ashanti; three grandchildren, Austin III, Avery Jr., Zayden and a host of other close family and friends.
Memorial Contributions to the Community Hospice of Albany County 445 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205 in Austin's memory.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Cathedral of All Saints 62 S Swan Street Albany.
Visitation will be on Friday July 25, 2014 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie.
Inurnment will follow the Mass in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
