Barbara A. Pierce

OBITUARY – Barbara A. Pierce, 57, of Guilderland, passed away suddenly on Monday August 20, 2012 at Albany Memorial Hospital. She was born in Scranton, PA. and was the daughter of the late Donald and Ruth Seal.
Barbara was a graduate of Bethlehem Central High School, Utica College and Siena College. She was the comptroller for New York State Dental Association for over twenty years. Barbara will be remembered as a kind, patient and caring woman. She loved to vacation with her family and friends and doting on her cherished grandson.
Barbara is the beloved wife of Robert J. Pierce Sr. She is the devoted mother of Robert (Nikki) Pierce and Wendy Pierce of Rotterdam. She is the beloved sister of David (Deb) Seal, William (Joy) Seal and the late Richard Seal. Barbara is the loving grandmother of Mason Dardanelli. She is the dear aunt of Aubrey Rader, Adam, Jacob and Katie Seal and Carrie Sylor. Barbara is the longtime friend of Barbara and Monica Baker and many dear friends and colleagues from the New York Dental Association.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:30 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. A service of prayer and remembrance will be offered at 7:30 on Thursday evening at the funeral home. Interment will be in Saratoga National VA Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, NY 12204 in memory of Barbara A. Pierce.
