Rotterdam- Barbara A. Walton, 74, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Schenectady and was the daughter of Albert Lucarelli and Yolanda M. Locci. Barbara was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Kenneth W. Walton and her beloved daughter, Nicole Ann Walton.
She was the devoted and beloved mother of Sharon W. (Michael) Pasquini and David W. (Maura) Walton. She is also survived by her adored grandchildren, Meghan Elizabeth, David Michael, Vincent Michael, Anthony Kenneth, and Daniel James; her beloved sister, Mary Jane Gemmett; sister-in-law, Sylvia Jean; nephew, Gregory; and nieces, Jacqueline and Susan.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 12:30-1:30pm at New Comer Funeral Home, Colonie. A memorial service will immediately follow at 1:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Lung Association.
