COLONIE - Barbara L. DiBenedetto, 75, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at St. Peter's Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Barbara was born on February 5, 1942 in Brooklyn and was the daughter of the late Paul and Irene (Hazen) Rosselli. She owned and operated Tee Off Inn with her beloved husband, the late Frank G. DiBenedetto in Colonie for over 30 years. She loved people, always running into someone she knew to talk with and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was known as "Gram" to many.
Barbara is the mother of Frank P. (Maureen) DiBenedetto and the late Irene E. Maiello; sister of MaryAnn (John) Coppola; and mother-in-law of Joseph Maiello. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Kristin, Siobhan, Anthony, Frank Jr., Dominic, Danielle, Nicholas and Joseph; two great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Xavier; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189 on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. at St. Ambrose Church, 347 Old Loudon Road, Latham, NY 12110. Interment will follow at St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands, NY.
