Barbara Jeanne Guyette
July 6, 1951 — September 9, 2017
Loudonville- Barbara Jeanne Guyette, 66, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 9, 2017 with her family by her side. Born on July 6, 1951 in Troy, she is the daughter of Charles E. Guyette and the late Jeanne Emily Guyette.
Barbara graduated from Hoosic Valley High School and then attended Siena College where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology.
Barbara taught a screen writing class at Hudson Valley and was a successful caterer had her own business, W.N.P Catering. Barbara enjoyed writing and was a published author.
Barbara was a talented seamstress and an avid doll collector. She enjoyed horseback riding, white water rafting, skiing and swimming.
In addition to her father, Barbara is survived by several cousins and close friends.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, September 18, 2017 from 10:00am-11:30am at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189. A funeral service will follow at 11:30am. Interment will be held at Albany Rural Cemetery.
