LOUDONVILLE, NY – Barbara J. Teeter, 79, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2011 at St. Peter's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness. Born on April 18, 1932 in Greenwich, NY she was the daughter of the late Lotan and Mary Mosher. She was a graduate of Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing and worked for Samaritan Hospital until she began to raise her family. Mrs. Teeter was a communicant of Christ Our Light Catholic Church. She cherished the time she spent with her family. Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Frederick S. Teeter. She is the devoted mother of Colleen (James) Marron, Patrick (Rae Jean) Teeter, Andrew (Tricia) Teeter and Mary A. (Steve Leh) Teeter. Barbara is the cherished grandmother of Nicole and Cindy Marron, Sean, Katherine and Michael Teeter and Emily and Hannah Teeter. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and friends. Barbara was predeceased by her brother, Charles Mosher.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Christ Our Light Catholic Church (formerly St. Francis de Sales), 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville. Interment will follow in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Rd., Loudonville, NY 12211 in memory of Barbara J. Teeter.
