VOORHEESVILLE- Barbara Jean Andrews, 77, formerly of Fulton, NY, passed away on Monday June 8, 2009 at St. Peter's Hospital.
She was born in Watkins Glen, NY and was the daughter of the late Alfred and Elaine Westlake. Barbara was a longtime resident of Oswego County. She was the legal secretary for the Oswego County District Attorney's Office and New York State Supreme Court for many years. Following her retirement, Barbara and her husband Leo resided in Las Vegas and Albany.
She is the beloved wife of 58 years to Leo F. Andrews. Barbara is the devoted mother of Terri (Charles) Bixby, Kathy (Thaddeus) Rutherford, Scott (Andrea) Andrews and Robin (Scott) Merrill. She is the sister of Alfred Westlake Jr. Barbara is the cherished grandmother of Jena, Kristin, Hayley, Lea, James, Robert, Tari and Lindsey.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend memorial services on Saturday morning at 11:00 at Niskayuna Reformed Church, 3041 Troy-Schenectady Rd., Niskayuna. There will be no calling hours.
