Barbara K. Ilardo

Albany- Barbara K. Ilardo, 64, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 after a long battle with multiple sclerosis. She is the daughter of Marjorie Wilkinson and the late Archibald Wilkinson. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband Andrew Ilardo.

Barbara was retired from DGS in the city of Albany. She loved her dog Minnie and enjoyed being with her grandchildren. Before her illness Barbara loved shopping, helping others and being with her family and friends.

In addition to her husband Barbara is survived by her children Joanne Bellefeuille (James) and Salvatore Ilardo (Bobbie-Jo). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Andrew, Sophia, Brandon, Julia, Mia, Elena and Liliana. She will be greatly missed by her in laws; Salvatore and Rosa Ilardo who loved her like a daughter; her sister-in-law's, Rosa Commisso (Charles) and Sandy Commisso (Rocco) as well as many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2016 from 4:00-7:00pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, 12205. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at the funeral home at 10:00am. Entombment will follow the service at St. Agnes Cemetery.
