GUILDERLAND – Barbara L. Mosall, 86, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, surrounded by her loving family, after a brief illness. Born in Detroit, MI she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Edna Jenkins. She has been a resident of Guilderland for most of her life. Barbara worked as the School Lunch Director for the Guilderland School District for twenty-five years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of the McKownville United Methodist Church since 1953. Barbara liked traveling, wintering in Florida and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She will always be remembered as an avid and talented quilter.
Barbara is the beloved wife of 62 years to Robert W. Mosall. She is the devoted mother of Michael R. (Patricia) Mosall. She is the cherished grandmother of Michael R. (Heather) Mosall and Jason (Alison) Mosall. Barbara is the adored great-grandmother of Audrey, Emerson and Henry Michael Mosall. She is the loving sister of Wayne (Jean) Jenkins and the late Duane Jenkins. Also surviving is her sister-in-law, Barbara Jenkins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at McKownville United Methodist Church. Calling hours will be Thursday, October 18th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be Monday, October 22nd at 10:30 a.m. in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Research Fund, Albany Medical Center A119, 43 New Scotland Ave., Albany, NY 12208 in memory of Barbara L. Mosall.
