COLONIE – Barbara M. Kramm, 80, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Kathleen Collins.
Barbara was a resident of Colonie for 56 years. She worked for Friendly's for a decade and the family business, Hugo Kramm & Sons, Inc., retiring after 18 years. In her free time, she enjoyed playing Pinochle with friends, and was an excellent caregiver to her family. Her greatest joy was in the achievements of her grandchildren, whether it be a sporting event or an academic honor. Barbara was a communicant of Christ Our Light Catholic Church, Loudonville.
Along with her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her loving husband of 57 years, Hugo V. Kramm, and siblings Jack and Eileen.
She will be greatly missed by her sons, Jeffrey G. Kramm of Albany and Todd (Theresa) Kramm of Halfmoon; grandchildren Elizabeth and Michael Kramm, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 445 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205 in Barbara's name.
