Barbara N. Labounty

MALTA – Barbara N. LaBounty, 73, passed on Friday April 26, 2013, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. After an eleven month struggle with cancer, she will now join our Lord and her beloved husband Ronnie.
Born in Hudson on August 4, 1939, she is the daughter of the late James and Lillian Kosa. Barbara was predeceased by her son, Paul Writer, her grandson, Scott Alan and her brother Ronald Kosa. She was employed by Market Strategies International in Clifton Park for the past 12 years. The family wishes to offer a special thanks to Pat and Helen for their kind and compassionate care.
Barbara is survived by her children, Diane Writer of Albany, Raymond (Gwen) of Tennessee, Stephen Baldwin of Troy, Deborah of Albany and Ronald (Yanira) Writer of Las Vegas. She is also survived by her special granddaughters, Victoria and Vanessa and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She is the sister of James (Grace) of Florida and Phillip (Claudette) Kosa of Vermont.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 3 to 6 pm at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. A prayer service will follow at 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 in memory of Barbara N. LaBounty.
