Barbara L. Noble

January 2, 1937 — February 9, 2021

Albany- Barbara Linsley Noble, 84, passed away on February 9, 2021 at home surrounded by her family.

She was born on January 2, 1937 daughter of the late Grant Linsley and Muriel Pohl.

Barb will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and Gigi. Barb treasured spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. While her children were young Barb stayed home to raise them. She later retired from NYS Office For The Aging after over 20 years of service. She was an active member of the Girl Scouts and served as troop leader for her children. She was a communicant of Grace and Holy Innocence Church and formerly St. Paul's Church. She will be dearly missed. .

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 41 years, Walter Noble.

Barb is survived by her children, David Noble (Mary Beth), Karen Noble, Debbie Salsburg (Ed), Terri Noble; grandchildren, Tommy Cook (Stephanie), Kali Noble, Amy Green (Zach), Kristy Klein (Ken); great-grandchildren, Zachary Green, Nicholas Green, Briar Klein and Ada Klein and many other relatives, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Barb's family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Schuyler Ridge Nursing Home and The Community Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Community Hospice Foundation, 315 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 11:00am at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Occupancy will be based upon the most recent NYS Guidelines. Masks are required and social distancing is to be practiced inside and outside of our chapels.
