Barbara Ann Pregont

Barbara Ann Pregont, 67, passed away with her daughter at her side on Thursday, November 11, 2021. Barbara was a lifelong resident of the Capital Region and dedicated her life to teaching dance. She has taught and inspired thousands of children over the last 50 years and her impact within the dance community is indisputable.

Barbara was also a loving, devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her mother, Doris Payeur, daughter, Danielle Cuzdey, and two sons, Scott Pregont and Daniel Sontag. She was known as "Grammy" to Hannah, Joshua, Ainsley, Tristan, Samantha, Eva, Daniella, and Sophia. Words can not express the love and support she had for her family. She will always be in their hearts.

Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of life on Thursday, November 18, 2021, from 4 pm to 6 pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie, NY.
