Barbara Ann Ramsay

Barbara Ann Ramsay, 86, passed away peacefully at her own home surrounded by family on November 22, 2023.
Born in Salem, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Laverne and Ruth Ziegler. Barbara was an Albany County social worker for 38 years. She helped an uncountable number of children. Her work gave her great satisfaction.
Barbara (called "Grammy" by her family) enjoyed her pets, watching wild birds, and most especially, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Grammy is survived by her sons: Stephan (Bonnie) and Scott (Shirley). She was the loving grandmother to: Brooke (Nik), Ginny Ann (Michael), Mitch (Kate), and Rebecca. She was also the loving great grandmother to: Theodore, Salem, Rowan, William, and counting.:
A casual dress, Celebration of Life Memorial, will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 12:00 pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie NY 12205.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Catskill Animal Sanctuary.
