Latham----Barbara Ann Kirker Serafino, 79, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018.
She was born in Albany on May 21, 1938, daughter of the late Andrew and Jessie Kirker. Barbara was the daughter-in-law of the late Joseph and Carmella DeFrancesco. She was predeceased by her sister, Joan Kirker and brother in law, Pasquale Serafino.
Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Edward Serafino; her son, David (Kristi) Serafino and her daughter, Dana (Michael) Serafino Romine; loving grandchildren: Courtney Romine, Andrew Serafino, Zachary (Olivia) Romine, Nicholas Serafino and Abigail Romine; siblings: Doris (Bob) Hodge, Jerry (Sheila) Kirker, Sally (Jerry) Sgambelluri and Nancy (Ray) Lindh, Marcia Serafino, Angelo (Marylou) Serafino, and Joseph (Patty) DeFrancesco; and beloved niece, Barbara Kieru.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Graveside Services on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 983 Watervliet Shaker Road, Albany, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Barbara's name to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 1 Marcus Blvd. #104, Albany, NY 12205.
