Barbara Sharpley

ALBANY-Barbara G. Sharpley, 58, of Albany , passed away on Friday October 6, 2006 at her residence.
She was born in Binghamton and has been an Albany resident since 1969. Barbara was employed as school librarian with the Albany City School District for over thirty years, retiring in 2005.
She is the beloved daughter of Rudolph W. and Helen Bealo Gaspar of Binghamton. Devoted mother of Allison Sharpley Fagan of Albany; Sister of Christine Gaspar Kassan of Binghamton and Richard Gaspar of New Orleans, LA. Aunt of Deni Kassan of Binghamton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Memorial Services on Tuesday evening at 6:00pm at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Barbara G. Sharpley.
