ALBANY- Barbara J. (Burdick) Van Sein, 57, passed away on April 11, 2017 at St. Peter's Hospice Inn.
She was born on July 3, 1959 daughter of the late Elmer and Eleanor Burdick in Troy, NY.
She worked for 10 years as a Nurses Aide at Van Rensselear Manor prior to becoming a stay at home mom for her 2 children.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Emile J. Van Sein, Sr.; children, Shakemia Van Sein, Emile J. Van Sein Jr.; grandchildren, Onelio Rivera III., Miguel Van Sein, Trista Rivera and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Eleanor J. Burdick (Ellie) Harrington and Elmer J. Burdick, Jr.
A Home Going Service will be held on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 11am at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205. Visitation will be held from 10-11 prior to services. Interment will be private at Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Community Hospice Foundation, 310 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
