Albany- Barbara A. Walter, 59, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. Born in Queens, NY she was the daughter of the Barbara and Louis Walter and was raised by them.
Barbara is survived by her four daughters Sammy, Liz, Karissa and Emily Walter.
She was the loving "Nana" to Genevieve, Bobby, Noah, Emelya, Lucy and Lily.
She will also be missed by her siblings Billy Walter (Lori), Anna Zilla (Herb), Rusty Terwilliger (Floyd), John Walter. She is also survived by her best friends, Barbara Thom, Robert Moeller, Donna Jones, Barbara and Dave Andrews and Jessica Knapp. Above all she will be missed most by Sam Yang. Sam is a blessing in all of our lives.
In addition to her parents, Barbara is predeceased by her brother in law Rick Buckta.
In closing, may her soul be free flying with the cardinals, we love you bunches.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2023 from 9:30am-11:30am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205. A memorial service will begin at 11:30am at the funeral home.
