COLONIE – Barbara J. Wiedau, 76, of Colonie passed away on Monday, July 5, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in New York City on November 30, 1944 a daughter of the late Lester and Grace (Climes) Wiedau. She graduated from Julia Richmond High School in Manhattan.
Barbara was employed for Ma Bell. She also worked as a Manager at Todaro's Store in Windham, NY and in Medical Records at Park Falls Nursing Home in Wisconsin.
Barbara loved flowers and gardening. She was skilled at crocheting, donating many of her creations to nearby schools for needy children. She also loved old western movies and Donald Trump.
She was predeceased by three siblings, Sonny, Booper and Susie.
Barbara is held in loving memory by her children, Holly, Jennifer, Billy and David. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren; her sister, Toodles and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 326 Main Street, Middleburgh. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Helios Hospice, 297 River Street Service Rd, Oneonta, NY 13820.
