Clifton Park – Barbara R. Zehner, 58, passed away on Tuesday, May 4th, 2021 with her loving family by her side. Barbara was the daughter of Kenneth and the late Florence Zehner.
Barbara spent almost 40 years as a nurse caring for people in hospitals and private offices. Most recently, her career took her to St. Peter's Health Partners as a cardiac nurse. She loved the work she did and loved her colleagues. Being a nurse was more than just a job. For Barbara, being able to help others was a calling.
Barbara is survived by her father Kenneth Zehner, her sons Kevin and Bryan Dame, and an extended family of many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Barbara is predeceased by her mother, Florence Zehner, with whom she shared an everlasting bond.
A Memorial Service will be held in Barbara's honor to celebrate her life and the many ways she touched the lives of others. The memorial will be held from 10am– 4pm on Saturday, May 22nd at Barbara's home at 29 Horner Drive, Clifton Park, NY 12065.
