LOUDONVILLE- Beatrice I. Berglund, 95, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2021.
She was born on July 25, 1926 daughter of the late William and Edna Van Slyke.
Bea was employed with the Albany County Nursing Home retiring after 15 years of service. She enjoyed gardening and was an avid reader. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed.
She was predeceased by her husband, Carl Berglund; siblings, Betty Callahan, Alice Mae Ryan, William Van Slyke and Robert Van Slyke.
Bea is survived by her children, Kristina Lewis (Kevin), Carl Berglund; grandchildren, Patrick Lewis, Ashley Lewis and her sister, Rosemary Van Slyke.
In following the families wishes there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 4 Pinewest Plaza, Suite 405, Albany NY 12205 or a charity of one's choosing.
