CLIFTON PARK- Beatrice M. "Betty" Conte, 78, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017 surrounded by the love of her family.
Betty was born in New York City on May 21, 1938 to the late Joseph and Teresa Conte and she was a graduate of Bay Ridge High School in Brooklyn, NY. Betty held several different jobs in her lifetime including; dental assistant, caterer, and legal secretary. For many years her hobby was making wedding and shower cakes. Betty was a loving mother and home maker, caring grandmother, and a dear friend to all who knew her. She will be remembered for her love of reading, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
Betty is predeceased by her brother, Louis Conte, and her first husband and father of her children, James D. Riviello Sr.
She is survived by her loving children; Valerie (Kermith) A. Riviello-Drew, James (Kathleen) L. Riviello, and Liz (Marcus) A. Riviello-Holmes, her grandchildren; Brianne, Abby, Andrew, Ashley, Taylor, Morgan, and Mandy, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Calling hours will be held at Corpus Christi Church, 2001 U.S. 9, Round Lake, NY 12151, on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 9:00am-11:00am. A mass of Christian burial will immediately follow. Burial will be held at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie, NY.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Betty's name to the American Cancer Society, 1 Penny Ln, Latham, NY 12110.
