SCHENECTADY-Beatrice Knotek, 90, of Holly Manor Apartments, Schenectady, NY passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2012 following an illness. Mrs. Knotek has resided in Schenectady most of her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen DeBrino, of Albany, NY; her son, Michael (Mae) Knotek, of Clearwater, FL; two grandsons, Derek and Dustin Knotek and one great grandson, Evan. She is also survived by her sister in law, Marie Slingerland, of Schenectady, NY and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Knotek was predeceased by her husband William Knotek; a brother, Herbert Gething, Jr., a sister, Dorothy Schermerhorn and by a granddaughter, Starr Knotek.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, June 25, 2012 at St. Gabriel's Church, Schenectady, NY.
Interment will be at St. Cyril and Method Cemetery, Schenectady, NY
Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Albany, 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer, NY 12144 in memory of Mrs. Knotek.
