LARGO, FL – Beatrice O. Wagner, 101, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center in Guilderland, surrounded by her loving family.
Beatrice was born on March 2, 1912 in Colonie and was the daughter of the late George Edward and Etta Sarah (Hildreth) Hallenbeck. She was a sales person and teacher for Hammond Organ Studio in Latham for several years and prior to that she owned and operated the Bel-Mar Motel in Latham with her husband. She loved gardening, painting, playing the organ, music and traveling. She moved to St. Petersburg, FL in 1976 and then in 1992 she relocated to Largo.
Beatrice is survived by her loving sons, Edward L. (Barbara Jean) Wagner Jr. and Richard J. (Joanne) Wagner both of Colonie; her cherished grandchildren, Carolyn (the late Michael) DeGonzague, Deborah (Nicholas) Giminani, and John Reynolds; and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of over 50 years, Edward L. Wagner and seven siblings, Murine M. and Gertrude Hallenbeck, Marge Fuller, Lauretta Hartman, and George E. Jr., John E. and Raymond L. Hallenbeck.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Memory Gardens in Colonie.
