Bell Elizabeth Hamlin, 77, fell asleep in death peacefully on July 11th. Beloved wife of Walter Henry Hamlin for 60 years, Bell was a faithful member of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for 63 years. Daughter of Luther Peterkin and Elnora Burnett, she is survived by 5 children: Toby, Mark (Maribella), Shawn (Joy), Nathan, Ruth (Rob); 5 grandchildren; and 9 siblings: George (Lillie), Willie-James, Evelyn (Bob), Elnora (George), Deborah, David (Sherri), Margie, Barbara, and Doris. She is predeceased by her brother PL, and sisters Ivy, Gloria (Bob), and Michelle.
Bell is described by her husband as "an excellent woman" (Ruth 3:11). She is known by friends and family for her faith in Jehovah, hospitable nature, self-sacrificing spirit, loving-kindness, quiet strength, mildness, and zeal to teach others about Gods Kingdom.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday 7/23 at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses; 400 Albany Shaker Road, Loudonville, NY 12211.
