ALBANY – Bernadette Alston passed away on Monday, August 12, 2013. Born on August 30, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Howard A. Alston and Mae F. Hardwick. Bernadette lived in Albany for most of her life. She is survived by her children, Kenneth (Brianna) Henry Jr., Daquan McCare and Joseph McCare. Also surviving are 4 brothers, seven sisters, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Reigning Life Family Church, 33 Rensselaer St., Albany, NY 12202.
