NISKAYUNA-Bernadine M. Pallack of Winne Rd. Niskayuna, surrounded by family, went eternally home, into the loving arms of Jesus, on Wednesday, October 3rd 2012. Bernadine, a lifelong resident of New York State, lived a simple and wonderful life. She devoted herself to friends and family. Bernadine was a loving wife for 60 years to her husband Herbert. Her greatest joy and passion, was spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren. Creating cherished memories was very important to Bernie, and she made the ordinary, extraordinary. Anyone fortunate enough to have met her became an instant friend due to her warm, giving nature. Her generosity extended to others as well, as she always made it a point to donate to charities. Bernadine loved Cape Cod and Ice Cream. She also loved music, and dancing with Herb. Bernie was crazy about her dogs, and Krauses homemade chocolates. She looked forward to boating on Saratoga Lake with Ginny and Tom, and of course, let us not forget QVC. She will be greatly missed by all, who were forever touched by her loving kindness.
In addition to her husband, Bernadine is survived by her sons Jeff (Kristin) Pallack of Mechanicville, Glenn (Suriya) Pallack of Niskayuna and Mark (Marybeth) Pallack of Niskayuna. She is also survived by her grandchildren Jennifer Holm, Julee Mondeau, Heather Pallack, Laure'n Pallack, Greta Pallack, Sophie Pallack, Benjamin Pallack, and Noah Pallack, her brother Alton Ostrander of Albany, several nieces and nephews, and by her best friends Virginia and Tom Clark, of Saratoga.
Bernadine's family would like to thank and acknowledge all the fine people who took such loving care of her, in her hour of trial, at Albany Medical Center ICU.
