Bernice Jensen

Bernice Jensen, 86, formerly of Colonie passed away peacefully on January 11, 2012 at the Community Hospice of Albany, surrounded by her loving family. She was a communicant of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Loudonville and a life member of the 8692 VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Bernice is survived by her loving husband of over 60 years, Norman W. Jensen; her beloved children, Karen (Rick) Covey and Roger (Pam) Jensen; she is the sister of Doris Warren and the late Marlin Christiansen; she is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and many close friends.
Funeral services will be Monday at 10:00 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2 to 5 at the funeral home. Internment will follow the service at St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery, Colonie. Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 510 Albany Shaker Road, Loudonville, NY 12211 or to the VFW Post 8692, PO Box 12083 Albany NY 12212 in Bernice's memory.
