ROTTERDAM – Beryl A. Graves Hansett, 78, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 9, 2010 at Ellis Hospital. She left family and numerous friends that loved her dearly.
Beryl was born on March 24, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Raymond and Lucinda (Parker) Eisworth. She retired as an administrative assistant for the NYS Department of Health in Albany, where she received a Team Commissioner's Recognition Award for outstanding performance in the Office of Professional Medical Conduct.
With her deceased husband, James Hansett, Mrs. Hansett was active in the Capital District Scottish Games, Clan Buchanan and the Schenectady St. Andrews Society. Beryl loved dogs and cats and was formerly a noted breeder of Irish Setters. She belonged to worldwide quilting circles and was a supporter of the Mohawk Community near Fonda, NY.
Beryl is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda Sue and Ron Long of San Diego, CA; her grandchildren, Ronnie, Cindy, David, Aaron, Pamela and Brenda and 11 great-grandchildren and one soon-to-be great-great grandson.
She was predeceased by her husband, James Dow Hansett; her brother, John Eisworth and her sister, Joan Davenport.
There will be no services.
