Bessie L. Allen, 89, of Albany, formerly of New York City, passed away Friday, December 29, 2017 with her loving family by her side.
Loving mother of Jody Allen and Robert (Carolyn) Allen, Dearest Godmother of Lucinda Barney and Heather McCartney.
Cherished grandmother of Di'Ara Allen, Andrew (Melanie) Johnson and Darin Johnson.
A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive.
The funeral service will be held Monday January 8, 2018 at 11:00 am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie.
Interment will follow the service at Memory Gardens, Colonie. Viewing hours will precede the service from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. at the funeral home.
